Competence, reliability, efficiency, availability and kindness are the words that come to mind when talking about Jumaros. When we were looking to buy an apartment in Roses at the end of 2015, we began searching online, which led us to contact Nathalie Sérot from Jumaros in Empuriabrava. She understood our preferences very well and, from then on, kept in regular contact with us, suggesting various apartments. We then travelled to Roses to view the properties we had selected. Within a few days, we had made our choice. The agency manager then took over the financial aspects and guided us right through to signing at the notary's office, and even afterwards. We did not have to deal with any procedures for electricity, water or property insurance. As we do not speak the language, this was a real relief for us. In October 2014, we spent a week's holiday in Roses, Spain, travelling in our motorhome. We took advantage of part of our stay to visit several estate agencies, as we had been planning for several years to buy a property on the Mediterranean coast between Canet-en-Roussillon and Roses. Spain really appealed to us, but we were a little worried about the language barrier. However, during this trip, we came across a French estate agency based in Empuriabrava, near Roses, which immediately won us over. We received support throughout the entire property search and purchase process, making everything very straightforward and professional. We would particularly like to thank Aurore, the manager of Jumaros, who was by our side throughout all the discussions before and after the negotiations, whether by email, telephone or in person, both locally and from France. A very big thank you also to her colleague Jennyfer, who immediately understood what we were looking for and found us, in a very short time, the property we had been searching for for so long. The most difficult part was convincing the French bank to finance the purchase of a property in Spain. But when you have professionals like the Jumaros team supporting you, anything is possible, and communication between France and Spain goes very smoothly. It is not like in France, where the notary takes care of everything. In Spain, the agency handles everything that notaries do in France, in addition to its own estate agency work. Even after the final signing of the purchase, we are still in contact with Jennyfer, who answers all our questions, advises us, guides us and helps us find tradespeople or other useful contacts... Hello everyone, my wife and I wanted to take the opportunity, through this short message, to express our gratitude for the work carried out by the entire JUMAROS team to ensure that our project was completed successfully and under the best possible conditions. Here is a brief account of how things went and our impressions…. After contacting several estate agencies in the area, we were somewhat doubtful, even discouraged, about the possibility of making our property purchase in the Roses area a reality. It was only through a conversation with the owner of a restaurant we regularly visit that we were given the contact details of the JUMAROS agency. From that moment on, everything suddenly became much easier…. A quick call to the agency, someone answered, and an appointment was arranged for that very afternoon. From then on, everything became much clearer and more concrete. She took the time to understand our wishes and advise us. From that point onwards, she took care of everything and showed great tact and patience, given the wide variety of properties and prices involved. It took us, shall we say, quite a few viewings before we finally fell in love with a house for sale in Empuriabrava. And that was certainly not where the agency's expertise ended, quite the opposite. As we knew absolutely nothing about Spain, after spending several months searching online, we decided to contact local estate agencies by email to narrow down our search. Having decided at the beginning of 2011 to buy an apartment in the Roses area, we contacted two or three estate agencies, including Jumaros. Jumaros sent us several property details for apartments for sale. During a two-week stay in Roses in March 2011, we were able to refine our search with Jumaros, and the selection of properties for sale became increasingly focused on our requirements. After around ten days and 15 to 20 viewings, we finally found the apartment that suited us perfectly. Once the preliminary purchase agreement had been signed, we returned in early June to complete the purchase at the notary's office.
