In the centre of Agullana, a small village in the Pyrenees on the French-Catalan border, this stone house dating from 1740 was restored in 2010 by its current owner. It combines old-world charm (stone walls, Catalan vaults, period bread oven, interior well visible under a glass plate) with spacious living areas.
This house has a vaulted kitchen with a dining room, fireplace and a long fixed wooden and stone table, a living room, a large garage and a well. The large living room with a vaulted ceiling on the upper floor opens onto a terrace.
In total, there are 3 suites: a master suite, which needs to be finished, with a dressing room and bathroom; and two large suites with fitted wardrobes and high ceilings that have a balcony with beautiful views of the village and the hills. There is also the possibility of converting 2 additional suites.
The village has all amenities: shops, pharmacy, doctor, cafés, restaurants, bus, sports facilities, including a municipal swimming pool in summer. Hiking trails start from the house, the beach is about 30 minutes away and the Font-Romeu slopes are about 2 hours away.
